If so there's where you need to cut the wire, strip the insulation leaving enough bare wire to twist together and use electrical tape to insulate the repair. If you cant get the motor to start up no matter how much you fiddle with the paperclip if safe to say the wire is open and this is your issue. If you have a consistent red flashing light, either the connection is not being made by the paperclip or your wire most likely is damaged. You might have to fiddle with the paperclip a few times to make certain you have a good connection, I was testing my test unit earlier and it was intermittent till I got a good connection with consistent results. With the bonnet on only, power up the LR, It should boot up with the usual status lights illuminating in sequence and power button with multi color illuminations, then the cycle light will go to a solid yellow light and the motor should start running. Unplug the weight sensor, then take the paperclip small end and insert it to the opening of the black connector where the two pins are sticking out of the connector so the paperclip is shorting together electrically the 2 pins inside the black connector, make certain its making contact with both pins.

All you need is a bare metal small paperclip, pull aside the small loop of the paperclip so its free of the larger outer loop. What ill have you do is bypass temporarily the weight sensor by shorting the wire harness going to the weight senor to verify the damaged wire is good or not?. If not, here's the other way to do it! we will use the LR at the VOM!. If you have the VOM you can test the continuity between the control board and your weight sensor blue wire to verify it still has a connection.

People have bypassed the anti pinch sensors before, but my cats are not very bright so I don't.When you replaced the weight sensor, I'm assuming you put the nut close to where it was on the bolt originally? That means anti pinch trigger detected. I unplugged the robot and disassembled and used a q-tip to swipe around the metal anti-pinch sensors to see if this might help clear the issue but it has not.
I Googled this and seems to be an indicator that the weight or anti-pinch sensors are being tripped (based on the flashing yellow/amber “cycling” light). Now, the “ready” light flashes blue and when I press the reset button, the “cycling” light flashes yellow/amber rapidly. I figured something was on the sensor so I wiped the sensors off tonight down in the litter tray compartment. The “ready” button would flash blue and I have gotten notifications on my app that the robot was full. Hi LitterRobot fam… I’m kind of frustrated because the last couple of days my LitterRobot has been falsely triggering the “full” notification.
